Cold out today, the first day of spring. It's a true "Monday" ...seems like there are just those days...mad because i'm waiting on money...for lanyards, bracelets, scrapbook kits and internet services i didn't order. what a pain in the neck!
but i'm not going to let it ruin my day. it's too pretty outside and i have to much to smile about. like my wonderful little boy who's at school and the little girlie girl in the other room ..who's going to be at school...this fall, there won't be any kids at home. all day, alone..can't stand the thought now, but i know that i'll learn to love it, have tons to do and most of all, i deserve it.
going to st. louis in april..can't wait..it'll be fun with sue and lots of scrapbookers around!!

hurricane in our old town

Hurricane Katrina is bearing down on New Orleans this morning and afternoon. ORiginally a category 5, it has been downgraded to a category 3 although devastating nonetheless. they say that a piece of the roof at the superdome is gone...there are over 30,000 people there..trying to find shelter...i am glad that we don't live there anymore..i don't know that i could get through this...what a mess it will be..i don't know how people get through these things, but i am praying that they will and the damage won't be as bad as expected.

supposed to rain here in michigan...we need it. I need it. i don't know why, but rain always is so cathartic for me..
